WOMEN THROUGH TO SOUTHERN REGION SUBSIDIARY CUP SEMI FINAL.

The ladies welcomed Oxford City, who play in the Southern Region Premier Division, to Fawcetts Field on Sunday in the League cup QF.

The Linnets, who are the only Division One team left in the competition and an average age of 18 years old had a strong start and on 15 minutes, Liv Bessant was found 35 yards out, flicked the ball over the defender, made 10 yards and finished with class past the City keeper. The home team were definitely the stronger in the first half, but couldn't increase their lead despite creating a few chances.
