Premier League Goalkeeper Coach Completes Management Team At New Milton Town FC

The club are excited to announce the signing of Premier League Goalkeeper Coach, Martin Pidgley.

Pidgley has worked for 18 years as a GK coach in a full time position. He commented on his respect for Robbie Yates and Neil Moss to whom he has learnt a lot of his trade. Being a passionate hardworking character, with the right professional mentality, Martin has worked at Between The Sticks goalkeeping school and has had extensive first team contact working at AFC Bournemouth. Bournemouth, who have now been in the premier league for 5 years, gave Martin an enormous amount of experience in working with some of the best keepers in the league. In recent years he has heavily worked with club and international keepers Ramsdale, Boruc, Begovic and cv of more top keepers.

The magnitude of this appointment states the real intent and passion shown by New Milton Town for the new season. With this year recruiting a new management team we have now made the appointment of nine staff to join our club. This is a fantastic step in the direction we want to take the football club.

Speaking to First Team Boss, Paul Turner, on the appointment he states “This appointment is a real statement of intent, and endorses the club’s new direction. To secure the services of a Premiership Goal Keeper coach highlights our professional mindset and is a huge positive for the club. I look forward to working with Martin as do the rest of the management team, and I am certain our goalkeepers will see this appointment as another step in the right direction. Special thanks to Lee Middleton for finalising the deal. Welcome to the club Martin, great to have you on board.”
